My boyfriend claims that he "might" move to FL (currently we live in NY) at the end of the summer. He says that he's not completely sure yet, and
that he may not actually go. But I'm not so sure. He might actually be serious about it - and if he is, then I really think that I have a right to know.
Because here I am getting myself attached to someone who might end up picking up and leaving in 2 months, and I'll be left here extremely hurt and upset.
Because if he does end up moving to FL, there's no way that it will work out. I have a career here in NY and I'm going to grad school on Saturdays - so there's no way that I'd be able to make a trip to FL from September - December, then I'm starting my thesis in January, so that rules out January-May. Never mind the fact that it's a 3-hour plane ride away.
So I really feel that I have the right to know if he's really completely serious about this move. Because if he is, then I think that I just need to cut my loses and stop it with this whole "relationship" that's completely doomed from the start.
