To make a long story as short as possible, I was supposed to have tomorrow off work. I was scheduled off, I didn't request it or anything. I made plans to
go visit my boyfriend's real dad tomorrow because I've never met him since we've been together. Well today at work, I walked by the schedule and it
had suddenly been changed. Now I'm supposed to work tomorrow. My job always changes the schedule and never tells anyone or gives a head's up. It's
been changed the same day before, meaning they schedule you to stay later after you've already clocked in. They made this change sometime today, never
informed me it'd been changed either. I just happened to walk by and see it on my way to clock out.
I didn't get a chance to tell the store manager I can't work tomorrow because she was out on lunch when I left. I talked to another girl I work with and she said it'd probably be best just to not go in, and let them call me tomorrow and then tell them I'd never seen the change and they never informed me of it either. Usually I wouldn't do something so...wrong I guess. But I'm really tired of this store screwing me over everytime I make plans. Not to mention, I barely have the gas money to make it to work the rest of the week. Much less an extra day. That really isn't a lie. But my store manager would never believe me. I know it's a really irresponsible thing to do, but bleh.
