I hadn't realised that if Federer loses the final to Murray he'll drop to #3 next Monday, but two weeks later he's guaranteed to take back #1,

Roddick gets by with his serve as well.
 I'm not saying to the same degree as Karlovic, but it has certainly bailed him out in a lot of matches.

Yeah it bails him out....but he wouldn't get anywhere if he didnt also have really good ground strokes....Karlovic's entire game is his serve.

5 sets are never a good thing for Roddick. If he didn't win it in 4 while bring up a break I'm pretty sure he won't get it in 5.

I don't mind who wins this match but I feel it could be Roddick purely because Hewitt has a slightly injured leg and might just start to struggle a bit.
Roddick is holding serve much more easily.

That's what I meant, unfortunately his GS finals streak was broken at the 2008 Australia Open, although I think the one he's on now it's like
the 2nd best ever, after the one he had previous to that AO.

I'm truly surprised he won. This is so the type of match that Roddick would normally lose. I'm happily surprised but surprised nonetheless.
