I know people make fun here but I really mourned Heath Ledger. I was only able to start watching his movies again recently.
Who was the first celeb you mourned when they died?

First celeb: Left-Eye. I had loved TLC since they started and had posters of them in high school so that was definitely hard.

Oh man, Versace! And he died right before Diana did too.
She even went to his funeral.
And don't even get me started on Tupac. I'll never accept that one. |

None. I mean, I was sorta sad when Gregory Peck died (he's my favorite actor) but I've never cared THAT much about celebrities.

I always get sad when classic actors and actresses die, mostly cause there's so few left. It's heartbreaking to think that I'll probably live long
enough to see EVERYONE from Hollywood's Golden Age die. Hell, I'm already kinda depressed that the last Titanic survivor has died.

Have you seen the interview that he did for The Crow (I think it is on the DVD). OMG it is soooo sad.I have! I remember they had actually shown that on A Current Affair or something like that a couple of years after the Crow came out. I had taped it and watched it over and over. The little poem he recited about how many more times in your life will you look at the moon or whatever seems limitless but really isn't? Broke my heart. |

Jonathan Brandis really bummed me out. My best friend and I loved him and never missed an episode of Seaquest.

Aaliyah. I remember when Diana died, however I was only like 10 and didn't really understand how amazing of a person she was.

Oh, and I can tell y'all right now, I'll be sad for days when Liz Taylor passes. She's one of the few of the old guard left.

Oh I'll be a mess when she goes. Probably not as bad as I was when Paul Newman died (he was one of my favorite actors) but a mess nonetheless.

Liz Taylor is the Queen of falling apart and still looking fierce while doing so.

Jim Henson is the earliest I remember being sad for...
I wore an armband when Eazy E died. And I cried like a fucking baby when Pac died. Was on my bed.. and the radio started playing Gangsta Lean... it wasn't a minute in when my phone rang, my best friend was freaking out. We both knew that meant he had passed :-( That moment is still so surreal in my mind, I loved that man. |
