I agree Kisses.. Probably because they listened to someone telling them what they should be doing as a woman. Just because you can do something doesn't
mean you should.

Women have the ability to have children if they CHOOSE. What they're supposed to do is make the decision that's right for them. Not be told what to do
by someone else.

You can be maternal and not want to have kids, I'm maternal, I just don't want to have children, I don't see the need or purpose.

Men have the ability to make babies too. But no one is telling them they are doing something unnatural if they don't find a woman to help make one with.

I completely agree, Jeter.
Sure, women may be ready physically to have kids. But it doesn't mean anything if you're not emotionally ready to deal with that. |

Maybe your main goal in life is to procreate but it sure as heck isn't mine. You are unwilling to accept that not all women find that making babies is
their number one priority in life. This isn't 1955 anymore.

What does religion have to do with anything? You are ignorant to think that just because you can do something you should. Everybody knows men and women make
babies. We have no five year olds here. But people who choose not have them shouldn't be told they should. Some people who have babies never should have
had them to begin with.

I'm LOLing at the legacy comment. Rearing doesnt seem rewarding at all for me. I feel it would hold me back from what I want. Plus, I hate kids. guess
I'm selfish to those types of girls that are all about babies marriage cooking etc.. That crap just makes me glad I didn't live in the 1920s when most
were all about their "legacy"...I would be the girl they all felt sorry for I guess. Plus, I don't want to marry either. If I ever had to,
I'd never change my name either. I'm so anti-everything "normal" here in the south LOL!
My mom was her 1920 & missed a lot she didnt know she'd later want--so I think she is ok with my choice...for now! |

I also knew from an early age that I didn't want kids, about since age 11. I came to this view from watching how my friends acted with their parents and
just bratty kids in general, plus I know I didn't want that 18 year responsibility. I'm 32 now.
I always told my family this and my mother thought I was strange, but my brother and sister both decided to have kids, and their kids are trips. Now, my mother says I had the right idea. |
