You are definitely right about the Sookie books getting worse. The last one which just came out was so full of fail I was pissed when I was done with it. I
like they're making changes from the book because I actually don't know what's gonna happen specifically which is fun. I also like Jessica so far
and I was hating her at the end of last season. She should be super interesting!

This episode was great. I found it hilarious that MaryAnne initiated the dancing, yet she can't dance for shit!
Oh yeah, more gorgeous Eric please! |

So there is something off with 3 new characters, to me at least.
First is that chick singer. She seems like a little vixen. Second is that preacher's wife, Sarah I think is her name. 1. I think she wants Jason and bad. Her eye has been on him since their first meeting. and 2. I don't know why, but I think she's a vampire sympathizer or something has to do with vampires or, I don't know. Something about her just screams she isn't who she really says she is or wants to be. Lastly, that Old MacDonald kid with the blown knee. He was awfully chumming with Jason but during the football game, his entire demeanor changed. Maybe it was the jock in him still wanting to be competitive, I don't know. But when he stood up just before Jason put that stake through Sarah's heart, that just struck me as odd. Maybe it just had to do with the American flag, I don't know. Whatever it was, I didn't like it and I really dislike those people (at the Jesus camp), there is just way to many similarities between them and people IRL in this country who hate gay people. It makes me sick to my stomach that they (fictional and non-fictional) use God to justify their ugly hatred towards anyone. Ahhh all these new characters and twists. So exciting! I don't understand Mary Ann, so what is she exactly? And what's with the foreign accent she was speaking when Sookie listened in? She's very intriguing and odd and sinister and weird all rolled into one. Can she place people under traces and trick them into doing whatever? Or is it more she tricks them into horniness? And I still love me some Bill. That whole forceful attitude after he busted the door open, oooooh baby! That was the hottest I think I've ever seen him |

I just watched it online. WTF with that ending? I mean, that sucks that we have to wait a week to find out what happens with Jessica's family and what Bill
does about them. I was like "Dammit!" There was a lot of good shit in this ep.

i watched this episode again from the beginning to the end, it was THAT good!
Here's a question though - were they feasting on Lafayette or devouring him? i think they're going to turn him but my sister said it doesn't take all 3 to do that. i can't see them killing off lafayette though. no way. he'll be the first black vampire if they did turn him - and it's about damn time! LOL |

They were speaking Swedish - Alex's native tongue. mmm...alex tongue...
And Maryanne supposedly was speaking Greek in her head - I have no way of verifying that though.
It was so good I caught the re-airing and it was just as good the second time. I think Rev. Newlin wants Jason just as much as his wife.

Sorry if this was posted before. Haven't got through all the posts yet.
I am disapointed Lafayette has become a Vampire. Something is going to be different about his storyline now. They should have kept him human and used him as an informant. Maryanne is starting to annoy me. I want her character gone now. The Osteen inspired, religious couple are funny. I bet her husband is gay. I just think it is so funny for Alan Ball to spoof Joel and his wife. |

Has anyone heard anything about the ratings this week? I want to know if they are still really high or if they dropped after the premiere.
I love Eric too! |
