I ended up with the Boston Park Plaza Hotel and now in the reviews I see that they've had bed bug problems. I should have just booked it on my own and
spent the extra money. Fuuuuck.

I came back home, but I lived a two minute walk away from there during school! That hotel seems so nice...you could bring your own sheets.

I've read that it's a nice area so I'm happy about that! I don't think it matters if you bring sheets with bed bugs. They like to grab onto
your suitcase and go home with you.

Hey...do you know of anywhere good to park that's not $40 a day?

OMG! DId you do the name your own price thing and that's how you ended up with it?
I always do the name your own price thing... I usually get lucky and get great places for like $35. But the last time I got this hotel they were remodeling and it smelled horrible all over. Ugh. |

You can park in the Boston Common lot which is right across the street from you, but I am sure that is expensive. There are also meters that are right next to
you, but of course that will be such a hassle. I know there are cheaper places, so if I think of something I will PM you...
Are you renting a car or driving there? To be honest depending on what you are doing, you really don't need a car there. |

Not that it makes the situation any more pleasant, but you could try it:

Yes, I did. I ended up getting it for $110 per night which seemed like a pretty good deal since other hotels in the area were all going for $170 and up.
I'm writing them an email so I'll see what happens. I could have just booked the Fairmont for $140.
Thanks! I'll be driving there so I need to park my car somewhere but it would be nice not to spend $120 in parking. |

I found this online for the Boston Common Lot, but I am not sure how accurate this is!
Evening Rates Pay $10 when you enter the Garage after 4 PM and leave before 10 AM. Weekend Rates Arrive after 6 AM on Saturday or Sunday and leave by 10 AM the next morning = $10 Arrive after 6 AM Saturday and leave by 10 AM on Monday = $20 |

I went onto their website and it says that it's $27 for 24 hours. I'd much rather park myself and not have to valet. Thanks a lot for the heads up. I
love Boston!
