If you up your minutes in the middle of your contract, does that extend your contract?

sometimes. it depends. more often than not...it extends it a few months.

I think with Sprint if you change your plan it doesn't.

I guess I need to stop talking on the phone as much then.
My contract is up in December and I
don't want to extend it because I want to switch service providers when it's up. Thanks!

We're over by 200 minutes so far and our billing period isn't over until the 14th.
Believe me, I'm not talking on the phone until then. We
owe like $88 in overage fees so far.

Who do you have?
If you have AT&T, it won't extend your contract. And if you change your plan through Customer Service (if you get a nice person), they will refund you the $88 by increasing your plan. |

With verizon, it doesn't extend your contract to go up in minutes. At least it didn't when I worked there, but just go to a store so they can backdate
it for you, otherwise you'll get prorated

It's with AT&T. We have rollover minutes but the rest of our stock pile got used this month and we still went over by 200 minutes so far.
I guess I'll have my dad call them tomorrow to get it changed. I went to talk to him about it but he has a migraine so I don't think it's best to talk to him about it right now. It's a good thing I went on to see how many text messages I had used. |

I know! I didn't even see how many texts I used because I got side tracked. I was like "I'm going to be in trouble." I've used a majority
of the minutes too.

I think we're switching to Verizon when our contract is up in December. That would make things so much easier because almost everyone we talk to is on
Verizon.
