I love the scene where Jake stands behind Samantha in the school & when she turns around, he smiles & bites his bottom lip. I hate that she just ran off! I thought she was nuts.

And I can't forget the part near the end where Jake goes to see Samantha at the church, waving & she looks behind her like He can't be waving at me. Then she looks back at him, pointing to herself & he's like "Yeah, you."

I wanted my own Jake Ryan for the longest time after I saw this film.

I remember him in Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken too! I wish there was a recent pic pf Michael floating around somewhere. I will forever love Jake Ryan. I think I will have to commit murder if Hollywood even thinks of remaking this movie.
