So the Emmys nominations are announced tommorrow, NBC submitted Justin for guest actor in a comedy series for SNL and alot of people think he's going to
get a nomination so I hope he does

I've been ignoring the 1st one but if that other "JT is the worst actor ever" thread in GD gets moved over here too;
 . lol There are other
nsync related topics that don't get moved.
If you hate his acting thats fine; but they are really milking it over there lol

The fact that there are 2 posts in this forum, both of which are basically saying the same thing - Justin sucks as an actor - is amusing to me. People seem to
be almost gleeful over the opportunity to share their negative opinions.
Of course, in the old days, 2 topics on the same subject would have been closed by now. But, there's so little traffic in this forum that I don't think anyone cares anymore. GD on the other hand will always relish the chance to discuss Justin in a negative way. Positive reviews, awards, accomplishments - rarely mentioned in GD. Tabloid stories and negative reviews = multiple page posts. I doubt that will ever change. |

It's not that so much. I mean, not being a conspiracy theorist; but I found odd they moved that thread over here after it was in GD for so long and was
already at 3 pages. Also, there were/are other nsync/lance/jc related threads that don't get moved. It just seemed kinda pointless
Anyway, I know they love to be negative; so that's nothing new. No one is obliged to like his acting, btw. I'm not a huge fan of it myself. We all know he's no Oscar contender or anything lol But he is talented in many areas and contrary to some people's opinions, many critics and others in the entertainment industry have complimented him and his acting occasionally. He's gaining a lot of respect in the industry in his other carrer/business ventures. Not to mention he's nominated for 3 emmys. So it doens't bother me too much if some people don't like him because just as many people feel differently. It's just hard to see that on JJB lol Again, no one has to like everything he does. But it's kinda crazy how big of a kick they get out of hating anything he does regardless lol

I guess I've mellowed. While it bothers me that the haters are still spreading their venom I don't get nearly as upset as I did in the past. I think
maybe it's because of what Jaz said:
Who cares what people think of him on the jjb. They have to find something to hate since he is so successful in all of his ventures. I hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm excited because a new Monk and Psych come on tonight.

I thought I had accepted that some people hate Justin to a ridiculous degree but the criticism of his acting in those threads bothered me.
They hold him to a ridiculous standard. There are so many mediocre actors imo that keep appearing in movie after movie. This movie looks cute to me and I'm looking forward to seeing although it certainly does not look like an oscar worthy movie as most movies are not. |

Yea, there are several actual actors that are full time in that profession (not musician turned actor or so on) and they are pretty sub-par if that and yet
they are very famous anyway lol But yea, whatever. lol I think it's some people just like to think he's the worst ever at everything lol
Like when they said he sucked on SNL and it was the worse epi of the season. Yea, yet he got nominated for an emmy for it lol (which I'm sure they have some negative comment about why that 'doesn't matter' lol) And I'm not gonna lie; the Open Road is not a type of movie I would normally go see; I'm not expecting it to win any awards but I think it looks cute and I hope it does well for him regardless. Maybe he'll surprise some people  .
