ok, my computer is weird-I cannot access youtube, google or imeem. but I can access other sites. I called my internet provider, AT&T and they say it is not
a connection issue, it is a browser issue. I have internet explore 8 on my dell, which is 4 years old. it is xp. I really need help with this as I am going
stir crazy without those sites. any computer experts who can help?

In IE8, try going to Tools> Compatibility View. That might help. Also, see if you can update Flash Player.
And I would say, if they work in a different browser, maybe you should go back to IE7. Also, have you checked for viruses and spyware? |

Already ran a scan-the full scan takes forever, but one item was found and resolved.
can someone walk me through this step by step? I really don't want to screw up my computer. I have no idea what intenet options pane is |

I just deleted the temporary files and I still can't access those sites. Those sites don't work in ie 7 either.

Exit=close the program IF that doesnt work, you could try uninstalling/reinstalling IE8, or even go with another browser like Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Opera. I didnt even know people still used IE. |
