His Saturday Night Live buddy and frequent collaborator, Andy Samberg, will make his debut as host of this year's big golden popcorn get together. "I'm calling in all of the favors that I can," Samberg told me earlier today while prepping for the show at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City.
He said of a potential Timberlake appearance, "We're trying very hard to deliver on that."
