I'm making a tequila-spiked fruit salad for a friends birthday on Thursday. Does anyone have any idea on how long it will keep if well refrigerated?
I'm keeping some for myself, and my Mom decided to tell me horror stories about a couple people she knew who died of toxic shock from eating something
similar. Now it's got me all paranoid.
How long does spiked fruit salad keep?

That sounds yummy! I'm going on vaca next week and making/taking along a spiked watermelon! Do you have a recipe for what you made?

I haven't made it yet. I'm going to wait until tomorrow and let it sit for 24 hours, and then give it to him on Thursday. I found a few recipes online,
just using google.
I liked this one: http://amystable.com/2008/08/07/tequila-spiked-fruit-salad-with-lime/ And they have a lot of different ideas on this site: http://www.recipezaar.com/Spiked-Watermelon-98727?scaleto=10&sys=e |
