I say no because our country was founded on trusting in God.
Should "god" be taken out of our nations sayings?

Do I think it is necessary to have "in God we trust" on our money? Not at all! But it really doesn't matter to me any way I suppose. I don't
believe in God, but it really isn't hurting me with the word God being on money, or the Pledge of Allegiance.

Because I actually want to hear reasons why....yes, or no. People are just saying "yes," or "no," so I'm asking people to elaborate.

Yes. I've grown very weary of God and religion entering policy debate. It muddies the waters and I frankly think it has no place in government. I'm
also tired of hearing that ours is a country founded on Christian principles. It was always my understanding that it was founded on religious freedom, and
Christianity is hardly the only religion practiced in America. I don't think any one religion should be given favor over any other. What if it was in Allah
We Trust? In Jehovah We Trust? In Source We Trust? It seems to me if we intend to walk the inclusive talk we talk, those things need to be examined. Separation
of church and state is becoming more and more a myth. I don't think God and religion should be denigrated, but I question their inclusion in anything
government.

I honestly I couldn't care less if it was take out or not. Because no one forces anybody to say that part.

Nah. I don't think it should because it's been that way since I've been alive, and I don't like change. (Silly reason, but there isn't a
logical reason to have it taken out, either. "god" isn't necessarily the Christian god.)

I think you can believe in God and agree that the church and government be separate. That being said, I don't believe in a specific God and I don't
think it has place in any government. It's wrong to assume that everyone believes the same and put your God on money and our pledge.

Yes. Church and state are supposed to be separate.
