Like "in god we trust" on our money and "one nation under god" in the pledge of allegiance?
Thoughts? |

sphincter says what wrote:Ugly? It's a message board. It's not that serious. If you state your opinion and people disagree with you, then so what? |

I'm an atheist that doesn't really care one way or another. There are a lot more important things to debate about.

No, it'd be taking political correctness to a silly extreme.

I think "god" should be taken out of all governmental things, but I'm resigned to the fact that it's pretty much there to stay.
It's unnecessary and irrelevent, but I'm not losing sleep over it because it's a losing battle. |

IdDoJC100Ways wrote:Arguments like this make no sense. Of course there are more important things to worry about, nobody ever said this was the most important thing on the agenda today. That doesn't mean it still can't be talked and debated about. And maybe it doesn't matter to YOU, but I'm pretty sure it matters to someone (or even a lot) of people out there. |

Why are you pushing for people to argue about this? Is it a homework assignment or something?
