The actress made her big-screen debut in Lookin' to Get Out at age five, playing the daughter of her real-life dad, but the movie flopped at the box office. Voight blames tension and turmoil between the cast and crew for its poor reception, and has issued the film's first video release after learning director Hal Ashby had secretly re-edited the movie before his death in 1988. Voight tells the New York Post, "Hal was working on two other films at the time (of the movie's release), and there was a lot of drama. Our film was handed over to other editors, and the result was a crippled movie. We were very hurt by the reception. "I was a co-writer and co-producer, so I had a lot to say about the casting... Angie was terrific, very well-prepared. I wasn't looking for any signs whether she'd be an actress... Hal's hand is in every single frame. Finally, this is the film he intended. It's like a message in a bottle." The newly-edited version is set for U.S. release on Tuesday (30Jun09).

Debra I made a comment on Angie's weight of my free opinion because my daughter of 18 told me she only saw Angie with more weight when she made Tombraider but because she had a lot of training and I can tell you my elder son after 6 months of kickboxing put on weight and muscles and it's normal. Angie in my opnion will never put on a lot of weight, maybe just a couple of kg with age because she is naturally thin but it was just a personal comment like yours nothing to bite each other about really. When I look around there are such a lot of rude comments on Angie and Brad around the web that this sounds like sugar beautifully made!
