Under the heading of speculation about Brad's future film projects......
Last week, a lower level Hollywood industry type tweeted from work that she was reading the script for Loving Frank, and that Brad would
"possibly" be tapped to play the lead.
Here's what Variety had to say about the project last December.
Frank Lloyd Wright film in the works
Lionsgate acquires rights to 'Loving Frank'
December 15, 2008
![]()
Lionsgate has acquired screen rights to "Loving Frank," a historical novel about architect Frank Lloyd Wright by Nancy Horan.
John Burnham Schwartz ("Reservation Road") has been set to write the script. Escape Artists partners Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch will produce with Stuart Parr and Allison Sarofilm. "Frank" tells the pre-WWI story of the affair between Wright and Chicago society matron Mamah Borthwick Cheney. " 'Loving Frank' unfolds in a unique historical milieu, yet it speaks to a fundamental aspect of human nature, that you can't help who you fall in love with," said Lionsgate production president Alli Shearmur. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * A blogger/designer who recently visited Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, one of Wisconsin's most famous architectural sites, had this to say about her tour guide's comments. In a "you-heard-it-here-first" moment of our tour, the guide informed us that Lionsgate has purchased the screen rights to "Loving Frank," an historical novel by Nancy Horan and that supposedly Brad Pitt wants to play Frank Lloyd Wright. If Pitt wants to bring his love of all things architecture, Ayn Rand and acting to Spring Green, it would be a huge boon for a Wisconsin landmark badly in need of repair. Let's hope. There were more than a few things leaning there, too. http://tesseradesignwi.com/news/2009/10/19/pisa-prairie-style-and-brad-pitt/ * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is a synopsis of Loving Frank from amazon.com I have been standing on the side of life, watching it float by. I want to swim in the river. I want to feel the current. So writes Mamah Borthwick
Cheney in her diary as she struggles to justify her clandestine love affair with Frank Lloyd Wright. Four years earlier, in 1903, Mamah and her husband,
Edwin, had commissioned the renowned architect to design a new home for them. During the construction of the house, a powerful attraction developed between
Mamah and Frank, and in time the lovers, each married with children, embarked on a course that would shock Chicago society and forever change their lives.
In this ambitious debut novel, fact and fiction blend together brilliantly. While scholars have largely relegated Mamah to a footnote in the life of
Americas greatest architect, author Nancy Horan gives full weight to their dramatic love story and illuminates Cheneys profound influence on Wright.
Drawing on years of research, Horan weaves little-known facts into a compelling narrative, vividly portraying the conflicts and struggles of a woman forced
to choose between the roles of mother, wife, lover, and intellectual. Horans Mamah is a woman seeking to find her own place, her own creative calling in
the world. Mamahs is an unforgettable journey marked by choices that reshape her notions of love and responsibility, leading inexorably ultimately lead to
this novels stunning conclusion. Elegantly written and remarkably rich in detail, Loving Frank is a fitting tribute to a courageous woman, a national icon,
and their timeless love story.

He even served drinks to the chicks with the bunny tail to keep himself busy during the evening. In Italy the magazine started republishing last year. Anyway I admit that I like Elisabetta because she keeps her mouth shut and if she doesn't act it's even better.
