I thought they were both awesome and agreed with Simon's take on who won each of the first 2 rounds and that the 3rd round was so-so. I think both will
have fantastic careers ahead of them. Adam's voice is out of this world, but I also think that he wouldn't be quite as marketable as Kris. Adam is
still very theatrical in all of his performances and I think that's where he would still gravitate, whereas Kris could easily do an album and the concert
circuit. He's also adorable with his crooked little mouth!

Miss Independent wasn't really her first song though. It was that A Moment Like This/Before Your Love shit.
She still does AMLT, but I'd rather that be taken off her setlist for good. |

Adam will be marketable to the people who are voting for him now--people who like good music, lots of talent, and theatrics. That's in a lot of music
now--it's just not mainstream Top 40, but those bands still do really well. Adam has credibility. I know it's not record sales, but he has it.
Ah, I'm so excited for tonight. I'm not even nervous. Well, I hope Adam wins, but if he doesn't, the plus is that he doesn't have to release that awful single.

Record sales suck right now, for pretty much everyone. A successful artist will earn money on tour, and I love both, but let's face it, Adam can put on a
much better show than Kris. He could do really well on his own tour.

Oops, I actually meant AMLT, although she also shortens Miss Independent sometimes. And nothing is wrong with Miss Independent - I listen to the real &
live version in my iPod sometimes because I love the bridge towards the end.
She completely dropped A Moment Like This from her 2007 My December tour. Here was her set list: 01. One Minute 02. Behind These Hazel Eyes 03. Don't Waste Your Time 04. Never Again 05. Maybe 06. Gone 07. Hole 08. Addicted 09. Because of You (Piano Version) 10. Up to the Mountain 11. Be Still 12. Miss Independent (AC/DC 'Back to Black' Version) 13. How I Feel 14. Breakaway 15. Walk Away 16. Sober 17. Chivas + Band Intro's 18. Since U Been Gone So thankfully, Adam or Kris won't be permanently stuck with Kara's song in their careers. |

I'm rooting for Adam. I have rooted for Adam from the beginning and I think he deserves to win. But, if Kris wins at least Adam loses to someone he likes
and a great musician. I'm nervous but I think both of them are going to have a great career no matter what.

A lot of popular artists right now are very theatrical, such as Lady GaGa and Katy Perry who we saw perform on the show. It's nothing new, and I think it
makes a great show. No doubt Kris will be great in concert too though, with a Jason Mraz/John Mayer type thing going on.
I think they are both great and they are obviously completely different artists. I love them both but I really want Adam to win. |
