Have the two cliffhanger characters of the season finale talk shit about the show all season long so that when the finale comes it makes you wonder "Are they really dead?". This is so much better than that Meredith "dying" thing, because you kind of want to watch the next season to see who is staying and who is going.

I totally didn't expect that to be George at ALL. And the last few seconds, with Izzie in the elevator and George standing there, BROKE my heart. I really can't believe it ended like that.

I was bored but I was still paying attention and didn't figure out George's twist until Callie came looking for him I didn't think all of these ABC shows could pull off cliffhangers over and over again but my god. Lost killed me last night. Grey's killed me tonight. What the hell is Desperate housewives going to do on Sunday?

George is dead while Izzie will most likely stay and get pissed about them not listening to her DNR. I predict that Katherine Heigl will get an award for her reaction when she learns about George's death and how she didn't get to say goodbye to him and how everyone didn't listen to her.
