^ I remember reading that the 'cuteness' of a baby animal (not just in humans, most animals) sets off some kind of primal instinct in our brains, so
that we automatically go into protective mode around babies.
It's a mechanism that's been in animals since existance, but one that we never evolved from (because of course, it helps push the species along so that we don't die out from exinction)! |
