Why is it that my cat's fave time is when I am in bed? She immediately starts kneading and rubbing her head on me. And whatever side I am laying on, she
has to be there too-she has to see my face and pokes head through the covers until she can see me and then she sticks her head in my face. Why is this?

Cats are nocturnal - so they naturally prefer to be up at night. Also - she probably likes your warmth and the feeling/heat/smell of your breath.

But she goes to sleep with me-she isn't an especially nocturnal cat.

my cat used to be like that but now he knows when it's bedtime and he saunters into my room and hops on onto the bed, settles into his spot by the pillows
and sleeps through the night. It took him about four years to get out of the annoying playtime, face swatting stage but now it's so nice lol. Just give it
time.

my cat moved on to pestering the dog. but given that he and most cats sleep like 16? or 19? hrs a day.. he's practically passed out all day and night, lol

they just like attention. you're like her "mommy" and it's cool for them when you're actually on her level. she can stick her face in
your face instead of being on the ground by your feet while you're sitting/standing. when she's kneading or rubbing her head she's putting her
scent on you to mark you as belonging to her. it's annoying but when you think they are doing it because they love you and are comfortable with you it
makes it less annoying.

One of my cats doesn´t do that anymore (she is 2 years old), but the other one does it sometimes (she is 9 months).

My cat is full grown and immediately, as soon as I hit the sheets, she starts purring like a chainsaw

That sounds so cute! My cat is annoying as balls. She does not want to cuddle EVER. Just wants to be fed and play fetch sometimes. And she bites.

My female cat has to sleep on my arm at night. I lay in bed and as soon as I do she runs up and bumps my head until I reach my arm out, she puts her head on it
and sleeps there all night.
My cats are like humans, as soon as it gets dark they sleep and when the sun comes up they play. |

My cat does the same thing, she goes to sleep later. I think she just likes the warmth and that I'm not moving around.
