For "comic book educated" (as Ryan Reynolds calls them) fans I can see why they would be upset. I am not completely up on my X-Men comics but I know
enough to know that they took some liberties. Gambit is pretty cool. I enjoyed his character. Hugh Jackman is effing RIPPED. On Ellen, Ryan said that Hugh
wasn't in good shape. He was in terrifying shape. Ryan was good. All in all it was pretty darn good. Some great fight sequences. Oh and probably the best
opening sequence I've seen (other than Watchman of course).
Make sure to stay all the way through the end of the credits. There are two alternate endings. But only one will be played. Both endings are on different prints of the film. I think I saw the better alternate ending. |
