how much different is the work print then the actual movie?
I have the workprint and I saw it. I'll be watching the movie when it comes out, so it doesn't matter that much I guess, but I'm curious. |

I hear they are exactly the same except for special effects. Which is what I want to know.
Sadly, I won't be seeing it for a while because it is at a theater I hate. Maybe if I get the reserved seats. I don't know. Hell, I work for FOX, I could just wait for their screenings, but I want to see it more than once. |

it looks too cheesy, I thought it would be a serious film.

FYI the after credits endings are different based on the prints your theater got. The 12:02 showing got the workprint ending and our theater got
It's not different than the workprint except the SFX are complete. Sadly there are some scenes that looked better in the workprint because some of the SFX on the large screen looked like ass. His claws looked really bad in some scenes and at the end you can actually see the ridge detail on his outline. Also NOT A CAJUN ACCENT but Taylor worked it! |

I saw it. It wasn't bad but I liked the X Men movies better. I saw it with a bunch of friends who knew more about Deadpool and Gambit than I did and they
didn't like the movie because of too many inconsistencies in regards to the comics and whatnot.

Having read Deadpool's comic intro series I didn't notice too much except that he wasn't in it enough. Same with Gambit though the accent is the
biggest thing!

Went to a matinee today. The movie isn't perfect, but I thought it was FAR better than X3 (I personally thought X3 sucked pretty damn hard). I know it was
supposed to be about Wolverine, but I can't help wishing that there was more interaction between him and the other mutants and more detail about them,
especially for fans of the movie series who never got into the comics. It's like, "Okay, these people are cool, but aside from a few of the characters
(Gambit, Cyclops, Sabertooth, etc.), I have no real idea of who they are or what they mean in the context of the X-Men series as a whole." It would have
been cooler if it was a true prequel to the trilogy.

I really liked it. I liked the story and the action, and the fight scenes were cool. It had two or three cheesy moments.
My brother is into comics and I wasn't aware of how much they changed until he told me. My brother has heard alot of comic book fans aren't happy about it. I would have liked to see more Wade(Deadpool), manly just for Ryan Reynolds. He was pretty badass at the end though.

I thought the movies were focused on Wolverine to much and not enough on the other characters. Imo they could have done so much more. Like Storm, she barely had any lines in the first two and we finally see her do something in the third, but that one sucked ass. |
