Wtf do you say? Or better yet what's the best thing to say? I hate interviews.

One way to approach it is to take just a characteristic about yourself that you know is true, but make it a "cute" negative.
For example, I tend to worry, get anxious, etc. I would never say that to an interviewer though. So my weakness is that I tend to take work issues, ideas, thoughts home with me, thinking about clients during weekends, etc. Its a nice weakness to have all things considered. |

I don't know that a message board is the best place to get interview advice.

This is a good one, I like that. I never know what to say when someone asks that.

I always say that I am a perfectionist. And although it is a strength, it is also a weakness

Those "weakenesses" are so played out and expected. It would help if you told us where you're interviewing, or at least what position. And
don't lie just to make yourself sound good.

Yeah, I always say that I sometimes bring work home with me, ie still think through problems and such when I'm away from work. Oooo woe is me, I work too
hard!

name your weakness and what you've done or are doing to fix it. Or how how it used to be a weakness at your last job and how you've overcome it.

One of my work weaknesses is that I sometimes tend to hit a wall and not want to work. You know sometimes you just don't WANT to work...
So I guess I'd turn that around and say that I can sometimes lose motivation but always pick back up and go double speed afterwards. So even though I may hit a wall it helps me to work twice as hard as a result... that's a lie, but at least it sounds good. |
