I'm thinking about watching Twilight, but I haven't read any of the books. Think I will like it?

The movie is not good. You'll understand it but I'm not promising that you'll like it. Unless you're one of those people likes bad movies.

Probably, but the book is much better than the movie.

No, I did not like the movie at first. After I read the books and had the holes filled in, I understood it more, but I still didn't like it. Parts of it
are just really slow.

i watched the movie on a whim and wound up really liking it - enough to read all the books. i'm not into that kind of stuff so it took me a while to even
give the movie a shot. i wouldn't have ever picked up the books if i didn't see the movie.
a lot of people think the books are better than the movie...i suppose i don't have a very active imagination so it was easier for me to read the books already having an idea of things from the movie. |

I saw the movie first. And then I read the books. I didn't read the book 'Twilight' though. I just jumped into New Moon.

unfortunately, you will like it. i wanted to hate this movie so much but my friend made me watch the dvd........i fucking loved it. except the parts where they
are in the air above alot of big, evergreen trees (i have a fear of those trees, childhood backyard trauma). i loved everything else.

I saw the movie before reading the books and loved it. Same for my friend too.

I really liked the movie. It made me go and read the book and I thought it was crap. I understood some things better because of the book but I still prefer the
movie by far.

You may not even like it! I just got... sucked in. Something happened and I just couldn't stop.
I was hooked, there wasn't much I could do.

Dylishis wrote:Actually yeah, that's kind of it for me too. When I think about the story itself and the way SM writes (crappy fanfiction-ish) I can't point out what I like about it or why I like it. I can watch the movie over and over again without getting sick of it though and I read all the books. I can't explain it |

Agent M wrote: THIS IS TRUE. I avoided everything Twilight related but I figured I'd put it on my Netflix list and get it whenever it was available. Unfortunately it came right away and I liked it a lot. The acting sucked and a lot of it was laughable, but I watched the whole thing and I have a very short attention span for movies lately. |
