But honestly, even if she was the most hideous thing ever, who's to say she didn't have money (I don't know all her back story). Didn't her parents die? Maybe they left her some. And if she did have money and no taste, okay, so they brought in a stylist and voila, $300 scarf. What's the big deal?  Carrie Underwood was a scrub before Idol too. Nothing new here.

Why does it matter? She's a talented old lady who people judged based on how she looked. They gave her a makeover. Makeovers often include nice clothes
