I'm talking about just within the US. All you're doing is sitting on your butt or standing in line. Where is the strain in that?

standing in line can be exhausting
Plus, travel causes mental stress and I think that makes it harder on your body. |

On a small plane where you really don't have room to do anything, I get cramped easily. When there is barely any room for me to stretch every once in
awhile, my legs tend to cramp. I also have a hard time sleeping on a plane, so if it's a long flight, I don't get much rest.
Also, if you try and sit on your butt for 3-4 hours without really being able to change your position and not having much else but an iPod or maybe a magazine to keep you occupied, you do get tired.

Because sitting on your butt for hours & standing in line a bunch, can make you really.... restless. I don't know, but I flew to Hawaii last year (7
hour flight), and Lord was I tired.
The one time I allowed myself to fall asleep, I woke up with my head on the shoulder of the stranger next to me. So fucking embarrassing. |

Getting up early always gets me. I don't really get that tired from the actual traveling. Although flying is SUPER stressful to me so I guess that is
tiring.

Oh, do we mean the actual act of getting from point A to point B? For me, personally, sitting in a car for eight hours is exhausting. It is for most people,
too--I don't see how being in the US is any different. I imagine a European taking a 12-hour flight would be just as tired as an American.

I guess I am still young or whatever because I can take long flights, do stuff wherever I went, fly back, and then go do something that night or the next day
and be fine. I know some people who act DESTROYED over any type of trip. I guess I would like traveling less if I was like that. I hope I don't get like
that at some point though I am sure age might do it.
