I keep trying to do a search, but it defaults to my home city, and then when I try from the Help Pages, it defaults to san franscisco. Is there any way I can search all of US? The help pages are no help! Thanks in advance.

But you need to make changes to your browser settings. http://www.crazedlist.org/ It will prompt you to do what you need to do. It's very simple and it's AWESOME. However, you shouldn't browse every area at once otherwise craigslist thinks you're a bot or a some other malicious thing trying to take down their website. You can search by things like... northeast, midwest, south, west coast etc. etc. Or search by state.
