I'm driving to Vegas next weekend from San Diego and was wondering if anybody knows which way is better, take the 15 straight up or should I take the 215
to the 15?

I've only driven Vegas - San Diego and back once and we took the I15 right through and had no problem. I would listen to the traffic reports before you
hit the junction to see if one or the other has a problem.
