Then when he was appointed a Cardinal and with the Pilgrimage of Grace, it just put a sour taste in Henry's mouth toward anyone who didn't acquiesce to his every desire. And then yeah, there's the Plantangenet blood The War of the Roses was still very fresh in everyone's minds, most of all Henry's after all the talk HVII afforded the conflict. He had every reason to be paranoid.

I love how he's not even concerned that he got caught and is being so casual about it with her father. I just keep replaying that scene over and over for the lolz, the butt is an added bonus. I like how he just kicks up his clothes and just goes about his day. Charles Brandon was the son of a whore? Side note, not that any of us would know the answer to this, but I wonder how hard that scene had to be. I mean they're both naked in a very compromising positions and I would assume slip-ups would happen. I wonder what precautions they have to take. Maybe they both wear nude coloured thongs that get edited out? I wish that scene was in the bloopers, I think it would've been funny to watch.

The men... lol Speaking of hygiene, I was on this tour in England and we went to Westminister Abbey and the guide was talking to us about Elizabeth 1 and was joking on how Elizabeth really set the standards for hygiene back in the day by taking 3 (i think) baths a year instead of one. It made me chuckle. I'm imagining the BO and eww . When I watch the love scenes and one goes down on the other I'm just like eww, I hope they really didn't go down on each other back in the day, cuz the smell would be such a turnoff.

Not that I was studying his thighs or anything.
