I broke up with my boyfriend last week...we had only been together for about a month. The first couple of days, he begged and pleaded and I wouldn't have
anything to do with it, but over the weekend he slacked off calling and I really started to miss him. How can I tell the difference whether I really miss him
or if I just miss the companionship? I was seriously considering taking him back, but now I don't think he wants me anymore... I just don't want to
make a mistake by getting back into something that some say was a blessing to get out of.
How do I know if I miss HIM or the thought of him?

Picture yourself back with him. In those same situations that caused you to split with him. Are they tolerable now? All of the sudden you feel like you could
deal? If the answer is "NO" then you miss the thought of him!

Did you break up with him? There was a reason. When I miss someone I think about what they did to me that wasn't acceptable and realistically people RARELY
change. So it was better to just end it and keep it over.
