We don't actually have the house yet but we put our offer in last night at 9:30 after waiting all day to get the pre-approval. I felt relieved getting the
offer in until the agent said there were already 5 other offers made on the house since Friday.
I'm going to be pissed if we can't get it! |

I feel your pain from when I put a bid in on my condo years ago! I literally chewed my nails rights off my right hand!

I know exactly what you're going through. We put our offer in last Tuesday. We STILL haven't heard anything
There are moments when I feel like
I'm going to cry because of the anxiety, lol. I've been carrying my phone around with me EVERYWHERE, including the bathroom. When it does ring, I
freak out and then get pissed off at the person calling because it's not my realtor.
I hope you get the house Keep us updated.

Buying is stressful. I remember literally shaking when the offer came back approved.
But guess what? Moving is just as bad lol. Hope it works out! |

Have you ever sold a house? That's even worse.

The house we want is a foreclosure and needs some TLC on the inside but is a great starter home. It has land, a huge deck, garage and hot tub and is more than
we thought we would find for such a good price.
I'm just anxious because if it does get approved, we have months of fixing up to do |

Believe me, there will be many more anxious moments in the process. The bid is the least of your worries.
Good luck! |

5 other offers? In this economy?
Most of the houses I've been looking at have been on the market for months. When we put an offer in a week ago, we couldn't even find any comparable houses that had been sold within the past couple months because they're just not selling. So that seems REALLY strange to me, unless the house is just priced THAT low. |

We put in an offer 3 weeks ago on a short sale and we're STILL waiting to hear back. Short sales apparently take a while but I'm getting so frustrated.

Ugh I know your pain. I absolutely hate my apartment and with a baby on the way I really, REALLY want to get into a house. I found a few in the area that I
like, am working on the pre-approval paperwork this week and hopefully will be able to start viewing.
Where are you purchasing and how much is your bid (if you don't mind me asking)? |

I live in a small town in Ohio, about 20 minutes south of Akron. The house is only $21,400 which is why we are jumping on it. The only work it needs done is
some paint, new carpet and some cleaning. Its an awesome house.

Some lady started building it and ran out of money. It needs flooring, bathroom fixtures, paint, etc. I talked to my realtor this morning (she's also my husband's sister-in-law) and she said she spoke with the other realtor and we should know something today! |

Uh. $21,400? Please post pics.
Are you buying this house with that boy you've been dating for like 3 months? Or just on your own? |

You still gotta go through underwriting. They like to pop up and ask you for extra documents and shit. Very stressful.
