I'm sorry but that's a cop out - I don't agree with any of this mess but parents can't use this as an opportunity to pass off their
responsibility to her. She's a 21 year old girl with her own life to live and her own mistakes to make. She's not clothing, feeding, educating,
nuturing, or housing your kids so she in no way, shape, or form should have more control over them and their mindset than you do.
Anyway, she looks nice from what I could see. I suppose her PR team is getting ready to ease her back into the public eye. |

According to X17, Chris was there as well. He left separately and was seen arriving to Rihanna's house after that.

Why do she waste her time and life with this ape? Chris is an ape and should be behind bars. Any person who physically abuse like Chris did should be behind bars. |

Like it or not, it IS a fact that impressionable kids do hold their fave celebs in very high Regard. If this were not the case then Madison Ave sure got it
wrong paying celebs for all those endorsements! Disney would not make a killing with all the Hannah Montana stuff, and all those kids did not really
"wanna be like Mike"!!! This does not mean that a parent's influence is not equally as important, and most kids will listen to the lessons their parents teach. Yet how many
parents teach their boys and girls about issues that may crop up in dating? To suggest that pop culture and peer pressure play no role in the moral decisions
that teens make is about as sensible as the suggestion that all problems can be solved by "Just Say No!" |

Jloveandjlo wrote: I agree with you. I'm just suggesting that kids are impressionable and if we simply assume that since parents are present and (are supposed to) talk to their kids about topical issues that all will be well, is to ignore the fact that KIDS themselves make decisions about their lives, independently of their parents. I totally agree that Rhianna should not be held accountable for anyone's life but her own. But, does that mean that her decisions will NOT make an impression on the mind of a young person who may be enduring abuse? To think that would be naive. |

If the story of Chris Brown and Rihanna teaches us anything, it's that the cloak of celebrity can't protect against violence and abuse. And the statistics on partner abuse bear that out: One in four women will be a victim of domestic violence in their lifetime. And young women, like Rihanna, are at the greatest risk. What's more, women who have been victims of choking, as Rihanna allegedly was, are twice as likely to later be killed by their partners as those who were attacked but not choked. (Read an article about that here.) Unfortunately, Rihanna is not the first celeb to find herself in a potentially abusive pairing. Search reveals others: Diane Lane: In 2004, shortly after she married actor Josh Brolin, police arrested Brolin on misdemeanor domestic battery charges. Lane refused to press charges. Madonna: In 1988, her former husband Sean Penn was charged with felony domestic assault after hitting her. She later filed for divorce. Tina Turner: The story of her violent 16-year marriage to Ike Turner was told in the film "What's Love Got to Do With It." (Charges were never filed, and Ike reportedly admitted to only occasionally hitting his wife.) Rihanna: Search
