I was watching some of the preseason game, and there was a crappy pitcher... he was wearing number 48

OMG why are tickets so expensive now???
I pulled up a pair for a Saturday, day game at the end of May, SIX ROWS from the field, with a GREAT view of David
Wright's tushie (only like a section away) but they were $500

They went up at least another 20%. They had said it would be a 40% increase over all, but they went up 20% last season and another 20% or so this season which
actually figures out to more than 40. Sneaky.
I also heard they might try to make the seats cheaper if sold day-of because a butt in a seat for a discounted price is better than no butt at all... |

I just realized the Mets are using Bobby Kielty in their line up. I hope he sticks around, because I
his hair!

I swear, if any of our guys get hurt and miss any of the regular season because of the WBC, I am gonna be PISSED!

I was looking at tickets last night and they have some reasonably priced seats. It's unless you want to sit on the infield is where it's most
expensive. I'm hoping to get to a couple games this year so hopefully once summer hits every game wont be sold out.
And can I say, I HATE the WBC. It's pointless and nobody cares about it here. The only reason the rest of the world like it is because they don't care if players get hurt, they don't watch MLB. |

I hear that the Promenade are is similar to Shea's loge but they have some decently priced seats. I'm spoiled.. so I'll probably end up going to
less games to get better seats... provided our connection with the season tickets emails us the games we can choose from soon!

My season ticket contact is now in Right Field, section 103, first row... Waiting to hear if I got the dates I asked for/how much are they

I was on Long Island this weekend and it was SO weird to pass signs for CITIFIELD instead of SHEA STADIUM

I'm so excited to go on Saturday, but I'm kind of sad too. I keep slipping and saying I'm going to Shea too. It'll probably be a while before I
call it 'citi field' on the first try lol

Oh I think I will continue to call it Shea INTENTIONALLY!

From a 2009 season preview:
The Yankees aren't the only Big Apple team playing in new digs this season. The New York Mets will open Citi Field, replacing what many people felt was the worst ballpark in America, Shea Stadium. ![]() ![]()
