More thoughts: When a couple has just done the deed and the girl is still wearing her bra. Or when she gets up from the bed and wraps the sheet around her body. It so takes me out of the scene. I understand the actress doesn't want to show nudity and I don't want to see it necessarily but there are more realistic ways to do it. Also, the girl is always wearing the guys shirt or answering his door in her undies when his family comes to visit. I also hate the makeover thing - where the girl has glasses and dowdy clothes and they just take off the glasses and announce her as hot now. And you never see her getting contacts, but suddenly she can see! Cuz glasses apparently equal smart, but ugly. Hate that! The lack of black people or people of color in general. And the lack of interracial relationships. And the only time a black woman is considered hot is if she is Halle Berry or if the movie has an all black cast. I guess I had alot more to say!

In the same vein as the wardrobe thing being reused on TV, I HATE when there's a movie that takes place in winter and the main character doesn't have a lot of money but somehow they have like five different winter coats? Seriously? I forget the movie where I saw this recently but it really bothered me.

In the same vein as the wardrobe thing being reused on TV, I HATE when there's a movie that takes place in winter and the main character doesn't have a lot of money but somehow they have like five different winter coats? Seriously? That used to bother me so much in Dawsons Creek, Joey and her like 10zillion coats. Yet she was poor.

And, if she takes a bath, she'll lift one leg way up in the air, and massage it for about five minutes? Does anyone in real life bathe that way? Why do people in movies and TV shows go to a restaurant, order a huge meal, have it sit in front of them while they talk, take ONE bite, or a sip of their drink, then look at their watch, and say; ''Look at the time! I've got to run!'', then leave without finishing their food? Also, IF someone actually pays for the food, they just throw a wad of money on the table, without even counting it, then run out. Why do cops/detectives always have to meet an informant at a strip club? The camera will linger on some woman's tits for a few minutes, just as we see the cop/detective walk in, to meet the informant. The stripper is almost never integral to the plot, so it's obviously just an excuse to show tits in the movie. Why is it, that if someone is trying to make a call on an old school landline phone, and they can't get a dial tone, they hit the receiver over and over again, and keep saying; ''Hello?'' frantically? Why is it, that when someone is hiding in a closet from a killer/monster, they breathe SO LOUD, when the killer/monster is RIGHT OUTSIDE the door?

I seriously love that movie though. Everyone I know hates it except for me and my siblings. I think it's the only one of all those countless teen movie parodies (scary movies 1-4, date movie, superhero movie, etc) that isn't completely terrible. People say this movie was so cheesy and stuff but I think that was the point of it b/c most teen movies are completely cheesy and stupid.

For example, they made a big deal that Regina gained all this weight from eating those bars and sweatpants were all that fit her. Yet, when Regina hands in the Burn Book to the principal just days after Cady's party, she's all of a sudden skinny again, wearing cute jeans and whatnot. Also, it bugged me that the girls never seemed to carry around notebooks or anything. Just a small purse or a clutch. Yet you see Cady doing math work, Gretchen reading her report, etc.

That always occurred to me when watching The Holiday too! I've seen this a lot but the example I'm thinking of now (b/c I'm watching it lol) is when Jennifer Garner turns into an adult in 13 Going on 30. She took over the party, headed the redesign at the magazine, and kicked her own boyfriend out of her life even though she understood that she got dropped into her adult life and should now have an adult boyfriend with adult man parts. I understand the actress doesn't want to show nudity and I don't want to see it necessarily but there are more realistic ways to do it. Yeah, even when she sits up in bed she's always carefully wrapping her sheet around her chest. It's like: he just saw you naked, he just had sex with you. NOW you're shy?

Phone numbers which start with...FIVE - FIVE - FIVE!!! No matter which city the movie is based in, phone numbers always start with 555!!
