He probably picks those songs because he likes them and he thinks they fit the song. Just like when he added Easy Like Sunday Morning to Take it from here. Or when he added Sweet Dreams and that song from Nirvana. I don't see the big deal.

Then if the world knows it, why are you wasting your time trying to convince us? And if you are going to try to convince us of his wussiness, please at least speak coherently.

Yeah need to make this clear! I'm with you on this Hollie - there are some people who think everything he ever does is about her, and clearly, it isn't. However...I personally think the choice of "adlibs" for this song have been very carefully selected and DO link into what the song is about. I'm a fan of both people and I'm not getting all teeny about Britney here, because if she or anyone else did something similar towards Justin I'd have the same reaction - I'm all for him adlibbing at the end of songs, but as I said before..I think the songs were picked to cause this sort of reaction. And IMO it was unnecessary. TOTALLY behind him adlibbing to something else, but given whats happened I think it's too much of a coincidence to be only that. The Britney-linkage DOES only relate to Cry Me a River (and some other songs off Justified, but he has said that himself and none of them were used as singles) and it ends there in terms of his own material, but the ad libs seem toooo "fitting" for them just to be random songs.

Or just singing a little bit of that song because it's popular now.
And I think it also has to do wish people being all, "OMG Justin needs to move on" everytime he adds a twist to CMAR. I would imagine that he is just changing a song up that he sings all the time. It doesn't have to be about being angry at Britney. it could be about taking something that happened in his life and putting a new twist on it.

Well I think he's a very clever guy and I don't think it was sheer randomness and coincidence that those were the songs he sang. I'm not saying he sat down and thought "hmmm what can I sing to make a direct dig at Britney" - I think he chose songs which related to what CMAR is about, and it so happens that its Britney.
