Lets lay out the reality here, because what I realized reading both sides comments in the news thread is that most of you judge but have
no real idea of exactly what is going on and are condoning both sides behavior in a very uneducated and bias way which makes the
arguments and observations completely invalid.

Here are some straight up facts. if you don't beleive them, look them up and if I made a mistake that can be proven wrong with solid
evidence, please let me know and I will correct it but as far as I have learned from all the classes I have taken (Arab-Israeli conflict is
one of my areas of study), these are the facts.

In reality, Israel is the only democratic state in the Middle East.

It is surrounded by Arab countries such as Jordan, Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon.

Hizbollah and Hamas are the two terrorist organizations that have come into power in Lebanon and Palestine (Gaza) respectively.

Gaza is a territory in the south of Israel which was granted to the Palestinian refugees through Israel as their own place to live
(and they were also given the West Bank).

Now, since Hamas rose to power in Gaza, which was a territory given to the Palestinians by Israel, no Arab country wanted to
accept responsibility for them. So Israel claimed them and provided them with all their resources for life such as food, medicine,
ambulances, water, and anything you can think of to help them live good and normal lives.

Hamas rose to power through propaganda ( they convinced their people that they will give them the world and that Israel is bad,
and must be taken out, etc.- think the way Hitler rose to power and that is in no way meant to be taken offensively, just factually).

All surrounding Arab states will not accept responsibility for Hamas because no Arab country wants to be associated with a terrorist
organization. The only associated area with Hamas is Iran, who supplies Hamas in Gaza with weapons and artillery sent through tunnels.

As claimed by many of the Palestinian people who were granted to come into Israel, Hamas constantly takes all the resources given to
them by Israel such as food, water, medicine, etc. for themselves, rarely giving their own Palestinian people anything.


Hamas began building all their bases for militant and terrorist activites in Gaza on Civillian territories such as Hospitals, Schools, Mosques,
etc. so that when anyone attacks Hamas bases for terror, they will hit their women and children as well as other innocent civilians and then
be able to use this for Propoganda.

Israel has been trying to negotiate peace with Palestinians but since they are controlled by Hamas, all offers of negotiation such as that of a
two-state solution(splitting Israel into two states, one Palestine and one Israel, therefore granting them their own state) and so many other
offers have been rejected and ignored. Palestinians, or I should say mainly Hamas which was created in the 1990's, has declined every single
time and said straight up that they want all of Israel or they wont stop what they are doing.

Israel has been enduring Kasam missiles and rockets being fired into their cities for 8 years from the Gaza strip. Israel has let it go mainly up
until now because the rockets haven't reached any civillians except for very rare occasions. In the last 8 years, it is reported that a total of
between 6,000-10,000 rockets have been fired into Israeli cities from Gaza.
Now, in the past couple of months, the rockets have been reaching further and further targets, started reaching highly populated cities in Israel
and began hitting civillian territories, and on sunday, it even hit a kindergarten that would have killed many children had it not been evacuated that
morning. At least 10 times a day an alarm sounds in these cities which grants Israeli's 15 seconds to run for cover and then a missile falls somewhere
and no one knows where.

The difference between Israel and Hamas is that Israel never purposely targets civillians, it is mainly attempting to go into Gaza
and eliminate the bases for rocket launching and Hamas terrorist areas who fire against Israel. However, Hamas only targets civilians
with their rocket firing and suicide bombings. Just imagine the U.S getting rockets fired into their cities from Canada or Mexico. The
U.S would not take it sitting down, and therefore the world condoning Israel's actions is baffling because it makes you ask, what else is
Israel to do? what would the U.S do?

The Palestinian people are being oppressed by Hamas and used as human shields. Hamas uses their deaths of civilians as propaganda to
make the world sympathize with them. The number of actual civilian deaths is never known and very often exaggerated.

It is known that even with the air strikes that Israel has been attempting to fire only at Hamas, there were civilians and that Israel has a
technique for that which they use to avoid hitting civilians. After the civilians are asked to leave those building so that Israel can eliminate
Hamas and they dont leave, Israel fires a rocket that simply shakes a building a little bit so the civilians who are asked to leave by Israel
and dont, are forced to leave through fear. When asked why they didn't leave in the first place, these Palestinians responded that they
were asked by Hamas to stay where they are so they get hit by Israeli air strikes.

A human life in Israel is valued to the max which is why when one person is hit in Israel, they counterattack ten times worse. However,
they try to avoid civilians by sending out text messages and sending airplanes who drop notes that tell them to leave or they will get hurt.
Israel warns, and since they know that many times it doesn't help, they try to avoid air strikes that kill civilians but sometimes theres nothing
they can do.

The general idea is that Israel wants peace, and i'm sure so do the Palestinians who are opressed by Hamas. It is sad that the Palestinians
are led to believe by Hamas that war is the only answer and that they can never live peacefully side by side. If Hamas is eliminated, or at
least hit hard enough so they are scared, they will stop firing missiles and finally cease fire.

Israel has asked continuously for a cease-fire by Hamas so that they wont have to go in and attack or fire air-missiles, but they have openly
refused and basically asked Israel to bring it on and show them what theyve got and said that they will defeat Israel.

Israel does not want to go in and tried every plead for negotiations and a cease-fire because they dont want more bloodshed for both sides
but Hamas doesn't want to cooperate with anyone and obviously wont stop until they are eliminated.

The Palestinians need to be protected and out of Hamas' hands and only then will they be able to live in peace. Many of them are running
into Israeli borders and cooperating with Israel because they understand the situation and the oppression of Hamas that is causing all the problems.

This is all the time ive got for now but understand, no one wants war among the Palestinian people or Israel, but Hamas keeps pushing
towards that only solution and you cant convince terrorists that there is any other way so for now, each side will do what it has to in order
to defend itself and for Israel that means going into Gaza and taking care of Hamas and their people who are firing these missiles everyday,
while trying their best to avoid civilian casualties.
