I finally decided on a major after getting most of my required basic classes out of the way. I figured I'd take all the classes I could at our community college and then transfer to ECU since community college classes tend to be cheaper. I expressed this to my adviser. She signed me up for classes and I've been working my ass off to make sure all the shit I did was PERFECT for my portfolio. Then on Monday my adviser (who is also my professor for one of the classes I'm currently taking) informed the class that NONE of the graphic design classes transfer to ECU because they are GRD classes and only ART classes transfer. All six classes I've taken this semester were a waste because I'll have to take the SAME classes at ECU and start from the beginning!! So now I'm an entire semester behind! On top of that, I wasn't planning to transfer until next fall so I ignored the deadline for Spring admissions at ECU. Now they're not accepting Spring admissions. GRRRR!!
