I liked certain scenes from the movie and I liked certain scenes from the book better. I only wish it would have been longer lol.

For someone who knew NOTHING about Twilight, I loved it.

if i hadn't read the books, i wouldn't get the true meaning of that scene. That's what my friend said about the majority of the movie. She said if she hadn't read the book, then she would have no idea what was going on. She also said she thought the first half was extremely boring, but she really liked the second half. |

just a quick question:
what trailers were shown before the movie? |

It's been a long time since I enjoyed myself so much in a movie. I can see it becoming a sort of cult-classic/Rocky Horror craze in the future where people go to midnight showings and act out all the ridiculous scenes in an even more over the top way. |

I saw it this afternoon and I'm dying to watch it again. My friend and I were laughing hysterically at the acting and the awful, awful music. What was up
with the overly dramatic music?!
Can't wait for the sequel. |

I just want to throw my cents in about how BAD the sparkle scene was. I mean BAD. He's so ashamed of what he is and the proof of that is in...a $2 bottle
of hair glitter? I was laughing at how awful it was!

my sister did not read the book and she understood most of the scenes. I also thought they could of done the glitter scene better.

Isn't Jasper supposed to be a year older than Edward and Alice? What was he doing on the field trip with them? Blooper?

I saw this movie, after being unimpressed with the Twilight novel 3 years ago, and I gotta say, the movie was ok. Nothing great, or even something I'd ever
see again, but alright. Granted, I went in with low expectations, and it met those for the most part. Robert Pattinson was the highlight of the movie. And
don't get me started on that ridiculous glittering scene. If there is one thing I still remember about the book, it was that scene. It was ruined in the
movie.
My mom, on the other hand, loved the movie, but she also happens to love the series. |

I thought it was pretty good for what it was. I wasn't going int expecting much, but the way the characters were played in the movie was exactly how I
imagined them in the book.
I wanted more Emmett though. He's got some good one liners in the book. |

I'm going to say the same thing I said in the other post:
I loved the movie. Even though it was obviously a low budget film, it stayed pretty true to the book. My biggest complaint was the makeup. There was just
no consistency with the makeup between scenes. One scene which I thought was horrible with the makeup was when Edward got out of the car at school with
Bella and he had sunglasses on...he was so flour white he looked ridiculous. And of course, the sparkling in the meadow was horrible. The makeup on
Carlisle was really bad too.
The makeup on Edward during the fight scene and the prom scene were the best in my opinion...he looked gorgeous. Oh...and this: We needed more Alice. No "Do I dazzle you?" No "I'm with the vampires, of course" WTF?I agree. I loved Alice...she needed more time in the movie. And I can't believe they didn't even have that discussion at dinner about his dazzling skills. That's a MAJOR part of the book, how could they leave that out?

I LOVED the baseball scene, the prom of coarse and the kissing scene. Oh and when they are walking in the school. He looks so hott.

I saw the movie twice this weekend with my daughter and we loved it. We hadn't read the books yet, but bought the series yesterday. I'm mostly finished
with the first one. About 25% more to go! I can spot the differences between the movie and the book easily. But having known nothing about Twilight, and I mean
nothing, I reallllly enjoyed the movie.
ETA: That first kissing scene was amazing. Their chemistry was perfect.

Hey I'm new to the whole twilight saga. LOVE the movie & the book and the difference from both but I have a quick question I was watching some of the
interviews and making of the movie and there seem's to be some parts they showed the making of but I don't recal seeing in the movie (or maybe I was
just too excited I don't remember it being part of the movie) think those will be added as deleted scene's when the dvd comes out?

Catherine said the DVD will be extended. That's where everything will be.
