Then again, some of Edward's facial expressions were so weird and almost laughable. But I think those girls were just drunk and laughing at EVERYTHING and nothing.
What things do you guys think they should've put in there that was left out?

I saw it at midnight and the girls in the theater were RIDICULOUS. It made it almost unenjoyable. They would literally SCREAM everytime something happened with
Edward or Edward/Bella. Scream and clap. It was beyond annoying. Plus this whole row of girls behind us were hysterically laughing almost the whole time.

I loved this movie because after reading the books and seeing it on the screen like 'he really does do that' makes me laugh.
I loved the baseball scene, it had to be one of my favs, i liked the begining where he looked like he was going to hurl because of bella lol, i loved the sunglasses part, man he is sexy to me. I went to the midnight showing and the girls only screamed when he first came on the screen, so no one really bugged me. A lot of the movie was hilarious to me like edwards comments or charlie was making me laugh "i put another pepper spray in your bag" lol. |

The growling baseball scene was HILARIOUS.

You know what I just thought of.. the Paramore song "Decode" wasn't in the movie. I think it's so perfect for it and I was waiting to hear
how they'd use it, and nothin.
Kinda made me sad. There's a video for it and everything.. why isn't it in the movie at all? |

franknbeans82 wrote: I totally agree with all of this. I thought the same thing about the meadow and the lullaby especially. And definitely the way she was so in awe of him and so nervous around him... Kristen didn't really seem nervous at all. SO glad I read the books beforehand. |

I saw it earlier def had cheesy moments. I thought first hour dragged a bit. I really think a person should read the books first to get the full details since
such little ones were left out. And I thought there were to many close up but it was still good movie.

towerOVERme wrote:Decode was the second song in the credits, I was bummed too that it wasn't in the actual movie. I really wish they would have explained that the lullaby was HER lullaby, and that they would have included more of the little hints to Bella that he was a vampire. Like Jacob never called them the "cold ones" and he kinda just ended the story halfway, and the missing blood scene from bio class. |

Overall, I liked it. I liked it for what it was.. a cheesy teen movie that made me feel like I was 13 again.
I actually thought most of the problems were with the script. Those moments someone mentioned being unintentionally funny.. I'm pretty sure most of them were meant to be funny. Especially Jessica's line about Jasper. Yet, the book had like no humor in it. So, the tone was much different. The biggest problem was the screenwriter admitted her favorite characters to write were the humans and Jacob. It showed. The B/E relationship was completely underdeveloped. Where was the depth? What did she like about him? In the book these things are pretty clear. But when you have montages of B/E talking as a way to escape them actually getting to know one another on screen you lose a lot. There was no transition scene between the hospital fight and when he came up to her in the cafeteria. It actually made almost no sense. We needed to see him ignore her and push her away after that. Why not cut a scene in the diner, a Jacob scene, or a scene with the human friends to add to the B/E getting to know each other stage. Especially to add the biology blood testing day scene. I feel like if you didn't read the book you would be like WTF about their relationship. Also, way too much time was spent foreshadowing the future. The bad vampires killing a bunch of people around town. Victoria at the end. It changes the tone of the novel..which ended very hopefully not ominously. Most of all, the glare Jacob gave Edward at prom made no sense. None. In the book Jacob was embarrassed to have to give Bella that message.. and seemed to think it was BS. In the movie he is glaring at her boyfriend like he has some rights over her? Huh, from the two times you met? It was something that should have been places way further on in the series. It just seemed like this long haired douche came out of the woods and acted like a creepo. There were things I loved. I thought the Bella/Charlie fight was awesome. I loved their father/daughter dynamic even more than in the book. Kristen did a really good job acting. The last 2/3 of the movie were really fun to watch. The kiss.. that was one of the best, if not the best, first kiss I've seen on screen. Just the way they played and dragged out that anticipation was worth the price of admission. Also, the prom dancing and conversation were beautiful. Spot on and romantic. I definitely want to see the movie again to actually get a better feel for it. To maybe like it more for what it was and stop comparing it to the book. But yeah, |

I loved it. Moreover...I'm surprised I loved it. I think it is because I went into the movie with low expectations. I thought they did really well adapting
the book into the movie. And I love Rob. Seriously I would screw him in a second. He was so charming!
Of course there were some cheesy parts, but overall I thought it was great. I'd go see it again. |

I loved the movie. It was cheesy, but not too bad and also kind of choppy. I have to say aside from the directing (because that was bad) Rob.. not a good
actor. I'm sorry.. I know he's blindly loved by everyone and he had some good moments, but a lot of his scenes were laughable. What I liked most about
the movie was how some scenes were filmed. Victoria at the end and how it turned black and white. Nice touch.
