People in my theater were laughing SO HARD. I about died during Edwards reaction to Bella walking into the science classroom.
But I agree...I smiled the entire time. I think I need to sleep on it and maybe see it again in a more empty theater. |

lol I agree with everything you said.
I wish I hadn't gone with a non-Twilight fan though because half the time I was feeling kind of bad because she was totally bored. Must see it again so I don't have to think about that lol. Favorite scene? Mine was...probably a tie between the kiss and the dance in Edwards room. |

I thought the final scene was magic. The dancing under all those lights was great! But I also like the dialogue in Edwards bedroom too

I have so many favorite scenes. There was the scene when they go to school together and he's in the glasses, the lion/lamb scene, and the dancing both
times. Also, I liked the driving when he picked her up in port angeles.

Yes, the sunglasses scene was one of my favorites! The lion/lamb and the utterly amazing kiss scene were all at the top for me.
I definitely need to see it in a not sold out theater. All of the girls in my theater kept cheering and gasping and it annoyed me a bit. I think I'll go tomorrow when it's the cheap time. |

Ok Jasper, who I love in the novels was a total creepster!
Loved the lil cameo of Meyer. It was cheestastic. I loved it at some parts...at others I was like "seriously? you're taking it there?" Jacob....and his horrid wigamagig. I think my favorite element besides the scenery was the fact that they used phrases right from the text. |

horrible movie.
welllll. i think i need to see it again just because midnight showings are always so much different than just going any other regular day but if it weren't for the cullen family, i would have been tempted to walk out. |

I loved every second of it! I was a little disappointed with Edward dazzling in the sun, I think I hyped that one up for myself a little too much because I was
SO excited to see that. My favorite scene as definitely them playing baseball, the song and just the way the scene was done totally kicked ass!
I loved seeing it at midnight because you know thats a theater full of fans. Everyone laughed at some of the lines that not everyone is going to laugh at if you see it in two week. I also loved the scene where Bella met Esme and the Cullens at the house, Rosalie totally rocked that. I loved all of the Cullens, Emmett, Rosalie, and Alice especially (besides Edward of course...) The second the credits started rolling I was already dying to see it again. |

I saw it with someone from Twatlight. We liked it. She gave it 5.9/10 and I was closer to 5/10. I liked half of the movie and disliked the other half.
Robert was gorgeous most of the time. The closeups were too much. The continuity issues bugged me a little in the film. I think Bella and Charlie were matched very well. I can see that whole father/daughter relationship. I had a weird experience at my theater. I went to an 8pm screening and the average age was about 25 and up. So there wasn't outbursts of laughter, but you can feel that a lot of people controlled themselves and kept it in. |

Speaking of Jacob...I didnt like how they portrayed Billy. The "trying to be cool" Dad definitely was NOT how I pictured him in the book..Charlie, maybe but not Billy. |

I thought the movie was pure ass, like one of the worst movies I've ever seen, but I loved it! I laughed so freaking hard I think I pulled a muscle in my
neck...lol
I expected low budget, I really did but I didn't expect broke! I seriously hoped the makeup would have been fixed because it just made it seem unfinisehd and like it was just thrown together and the cast IMO seemed really uncomfortable around eachother. Like for a bit of it I get butalot of it was just awkward. Oh and dazzling should never have been put in the movie, he looked like a reject from a David Bowie show! That being said I"m taking my mother to see it tomorrow! |

Yeah the dazzling kinda sucked, it looked like he was just covered in sweat and there was a lot of lights around, not at all what I was hoping for or
expecting.
The Forks kids seemed way different to me from how they are in the book, especially Mike, Eric, and Jessica. I'm contemplating seeing it again at 10 am before work when its cheap. |

My friend and I were talking about the "friends" just simply because the book really gave me the impression that everyone was white so to see such
diversity threw them off for me. Mike however was WAY off! I'd have casted Cam as him instead!

Jessica just seemed off to me for some reason, maybe it was the actress. The guys all seemed way more shy in the book, where as they were basically falling all
over her, which they were in the book but it wasn't as out there in front of everyone in the book. I loved the Tyler/Charlie part in the hospital where he
said he was taking his license and would have enjoyed seeing Tyler show up at her house expecting to be her prom date but with the type of personality the
movie Tyler had I can see why they left that out.

I was disappointed. I thought Pattinson overacted the majority of the movie...people were laughing at his bad acting. I was embarrassed for him. And he looked
like he was sweaty instead of sparkly. And WTF with Alice, Emmett, and Jasper only having like...three lines a piece?

I agree. The best thing they could do if they make a second movie is to get rid of Hardwick.

i liked the movie overall. there were some cheesy parts but it was watchable and even my friend who dragged her boyfriend with us like it. Please get a new
director for the movie through i just dont think that these movies are for hardwick to make. I had two stupid fat twi moms or whatever sent in front of me and
kept saying i would love to make love with edward and jacob gross much yuck. There was a group of team Swis who would not shut the hell up and i almost got up
to go tell them the shut the hell up with the stupid nasty twi moms.

I haven't seen it yet, but my friends did last night. Apparently the entire movie theater was laughing at certain parts and people just walked out.
Hearing that was enough to make me just buy the bootleg. |

I saw it last night and even though it was cheesetastic, I enjoyed it.
I was disappointed in the sparkling scene; if I hadn't read the book I wouldn't know what was different about him when he was in the sunlight. And some of the camera angles in some of the scenes could've been shot a lot better. I admit, I swooned liked a 13-year old when Edward first walked into the cafeteria. I did love the kissing scene, Edward in sunglasses and saving
Bella in Port Angeles.
There were a lot of scenes that were unintentionally comedic for some reason - Edward's reaction to Bella when she first walked into class, Jessica's description of Jasper, Bella's official meeting with the Cullen family. |
