they eat something with nuts and put it all near my desk. Just cause I haven't died from it yet doesn't mean that I won't

Maybe you should threaten to steal their souls, I bet they'll take it seriously then.

That's really insensitive. Have you talked to them about it?

Thats SO fucked up as someone with a food allergy (wheat). Yours is actually worth because I just get really stomach sick, your shit involves hospitals and epi
pens.

i'm allergic to peanuts and some of my coworkers could care less. i was told by one of them that i should carry an epi-pen. i keep on with me anyways but
i'd rather not go into anaphylaxis and jab a needle into my leg if they could just lay off the peanut butter.
i was the kid who had a lot of restrictions growing up and it's sad that people can be so inconsiderate. since nuts/tree nuts were banned in schools, one coworker went on a tyrade bc her kid likes pb&j and "those kids" should go sit in some secluded area. having sensitive food allergies are alienating enough, not to mention that some are related to promity not ingestion. dumbass |

yeah, exactly. If I touch a nut, I get a reaction. My one co-worker was like, how bad can it be? because once I accidently ate some pesto and that has pinenuts
in it. But I know instantly when I'm having a reaction, I don't think I even finished chewing. And I went to the store to get benadryl right away. and
I still felt that tingling swelling feeling in my mouth. The thing with food allergies is, you never know when you can have a really serious reaction. It's
nothing to test.
The other thing is I hate the sight of nuts, I hate the smell of them. The only bad thing about the Holidays is how nuts seem to be required in every cookie and dessert. Gag |

I have anaphylaxis to nuts and Seafood also, I went to a restaurant the other day and ordered stir fry, let them know about my allergy... My meal came out with
Shrimp topped with peanuts. I called the manager over, he said "well if you have an allergy that bad maybe you should stay home"
I could have killed him! Food allergies aren't something to play around with! |

Weren't you the one who offered your boss something with peanuts in it but he was allergic?
(I only remember this because there was a discussion on how
peanuts weren't nuts... something I didn't know before. |

How insensitive people can be! Maybe you need to warn them in a more serious way.

People are really inconsiderate. I don't have food allergies but if I was told that someone around me had an issue, I would definitely take it seriously.
