Beyonce and Justin come close, but it doesn't seem the same like older generations.

If you are over 18, you do not consider Miley Cyrus a superstar.

I'm 20 so I'm talking about the Gen-Y crowd. There's no one putting out music or movies that people are going to be talking about 20 years from
now. I mean someone who just captivates the world like The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Elvis etc. once did.

Kanye, is close.I think with the internet and paparazzi, we see alot more of people, they don't have that mystery factor any more. Of course MonekyMonkey
is our generation's biggest star, I'm a huge fan.

I agree with you. I think about it sometimes and I wonder who will be legendary and I just don't see anyone having that kind of lasting impact. Except
maybe *NSYNC.

We got Britney! And that's the only one I can think of who people from different generations know and discuss. As far as other pop stars are concerned,
they may be successful, but, it's true that if you ask a 50 year old about Miley or Justin, they're not very likely to know much about them or even
care.
We also have Mariah, and Celine isn't exactly a different generation just yet, so I guess she counts too. |

Miley is not international.
If I had to go for one I'd say Britney... or maybe Madonna. She is still relevant. |
