Come to think of it, in as much as we wanted at first for X not to spoil AJ & BP's Oscar night by her undeserved appearance on the same event in order to avoid undue publicity, it turned out it's a BLESSING IN DISGUISE to AJ & BP after all. Because of X's insistence or for taking advantage of the opportunity that's given to her by the Academy organizers even knowing she's just being used for rating purposes, her appearance BACKFIRED on her. Contrary to what she desperately wished, it caused a negative result on her because of how she particularly acted during the awards proper, besides her so-so outfit, hairstyle, make-up, desperate poses & stance (especially during after party). She gave the public a GLIMPSE or look of what X is truly made of. She became some sort of a "laughing stock" during that night. She gave the audience & viewers a good reason, though how flimsy it might be, why she can never be on the same league as AJ; why there's no contest between AJ & X; That the only reason why she's mentioned on the same breathe as A is due mainly to BP.

One thing is clear, well at least for me, as I see it, no matter how much she tries to convince the public that she has already moved on, I think she still can't accept whatever happened to her failed marriage. That's why, AJ is UNFAIRLY made as a CONVENIENT SCAPEGOAT for that failure to avoid X's share of responsibility to it.

Mayer and other short-term relationships X had, after BP, are all facade. So, only when she stops coattail-riding and trying to put the JP's down, I can really say she has indeed moved on. The moment she decides to let go of AJ & BP from her system, that's the time she will be taken seriously by the public.
