My girlfriends and I were discussing if McCain would've ever chosen Palin and her lack of experience if she was a man. I vote no. Sorry if this is a silly
question, but just curius what everyone else thought.

I was a McCain supporter in 2004 and at the beginning of the election season. As of now, there is no chance in hell I would ever vote for a McCain/Palin
ticket.

No.
I personally don't believe that he actually chose her. |

Oh yeah, I think his camp thinks there's a certain segment of voters that she appeals to. Not necessarily because of her gender but because of her nature.

I agree, dweam. She has that "aw shucks" appeal of Bush, but slightly more eloquent. She doesn't appeal to me personally, but I can see the
voters who she's trying to appeal to.

After watching that, I honestly don't believe that she would be able to handle being President if McCain were to pass away. And people should really
consider that when making their decision.

Bush Sr. chose Dan Quayle, so I'll say there was a pretty good chance.

I feel a little iffy about this election. While I'm going to vote for Obama, that was never my original intention. Although as time has gone on, I support
the Obama/Biden ticket more than I did. Ideally, I would've voted differently but I'm excited to cast my vote regardless.
