I had a really bad experience and I honestly don't know how to handle it and I know I handled it so far all wrong. Long story short the lady messed up my
hair big time, didn't listen to what I said and then over charged me about 50 bucks. Took a week to have someone from the salon call me back. They had
the girl that did the service call me and she made up extra prices for things to make up the difference in what I should have been charged vs what I was
charged. I was pissed that it took a week, and that it was the same person that IMO fucked me that called back. I feel I got the "well my mom lets me do
it" type response that you would get from a child out of this girl. Finally called and got the salon owner who basically told me that everyone has been
talking trash about me, and how its not a big deal and she will give me 15 bucks back and that is it. I am beyond pissed...and its been another five days
since then, and still no credit to my card. The chick even left me a VM on my cell phone telling me how she did what she wanted to do with my hair because
what I asked for was not what I needed. Nice of her to make that call, not me who's hair it is in the first place.

Dang, that stinks. If I were you I wouldn't have payed at all. Especially with the extra charges.
I would call again and DEMAND that the credit and then some be put back in your card for rude services. Just keep bugging them about it and I think eventually they'll give you what you want. and go online and leave reviews at places detailing your experience. Whenever I search for something via google I usually always read the review and the bad ones usually stick out. |

That sucks! I don't blame you for being upset. I hope that they finally credit your card. I would definitely call to talk to the owner and demand to
know why your card hasn't been credited yet. Did you save the VM from the stylist? Maybe you could play it for the owner, because that is just downright
rude. It's not her place to do what she feels you need. She's supposed to do your hair the way you wanted it. My stylist is actually one of the
owners of the salon I go to, and she would be very upset to hear that any of her employees would do something like what was done to you.
I would tell everyone I knew about what horrible service I received there. CAMiiLLE is right..they have other sites online where you could leave bad reviews of the salon as well. Maybe you could report them to the Better Business Bureau? I looked and they not only have a link to file a complaint, but there's an area for dispute resolution services. |

Thats horrible that the owner told you that! Bitch needs to learn some customer service in my honest opinion. If you pay for something then you want your
money's worth.

Call the BBB aka the Better Business Bureau. It's a little extreme but if you are truly upset over what happened (which by the looks of it you are and
rightfully i might add) you can can call them and tell them what happened. They may be able to help you get your money back.

I was transitioning from bleach blonde to light brown, so my color would fade a lot. The lady said that since my color was fading, i should go dark brown. I
said it was alright as long as it wasn' t oo dark. I let her dye it, assuming she knew what she was doing. SHE DYED MY HAIR BLACK. BLACK!!!!!!!!! I have
really pale skin, so i went around looking like some gothic emo bitch for a while. I took me almost a year to grow out that fucking black and im still pissed
about it,
I NEVER went back again. I would go quite often, and if i didn't she would call me to see how i was doing (aka, to see if i wanted to spend money there ). After she dyed my hair black she never called again because i'm
pretty sure she knew what she did.

I use to go to this place One Step Above' and I LOVED it. It was amazing, always perfect and always at a nice discounted price. When my girl left, I was
forced to either follow her 3 hours away, or continue on. Anyway, I went in for something new, regardless she messed it up so badly that I thought I looked
like a boy and on top of that she refused to blow-dry and style my hair. I was outraged!
Needless to say I complained like no other. I kept my cool but I made sure I was
heard. So after a very long ranting and raving session I was granted the next five trips into the store, free as long as I went to "head" person. I
used them up, of course; after that I never went back.
Everyone has a bad day, or mistakes happen and it's just hair. It will grow back and it can always be colored over; but refusing to do something?! Yeah I don't think so. |

sonoxadriana wrote:Girl, I hope you kept the vm! I think you should go back to the salon and ask the receptionist to get the owner for you. If she refuses, tell her you'll make such a fuss in the wait area that she'll be sorry she didn't. When the owner arrives, tell him/her that due to the poor service, after the lousy hair cut and the ridiculous voice message, you want a FULL refund. Get louder. Tell the owner that if you are not reimbursed in full, you will not only report the salon to the BBB (as already suggested) you will also take their sorry asses to court. Of course, you don't have to actually mean it, but they won't know that. Quote the 'Lofthouse vs Yeh' case (they'll have no idea that it happened in NSW).. that woman won $25,000! If they don't reimburse you after that threat I don't know what to tell ya! |
