I have some questions: Is it usually an expensive procedure? How long does it last? How does that work when you wash your hair, how does it not go back to
curly?

I had it done in March. I did the kind of chemical straightening that's basically a perm. So, I didn't do the bionic straightening which is supposed to
be much better. It cost me about $150 with a cut and blow dry and it stayed stick straight for maybe 4 months. It's still pretty straight but with a few
wavy spots. My hair was really wavy to begin with, and not quite curly.
It did SO much damage to my hair. 2-3 months after getting it done I had to cut about 3 inches off because it was so damaged. Thankfully my hair grows fast. |
