I saw a recipe on the bottle of the Greek spice we have and decided to make it but with already grated parmesan cheese. The original recipe was actually meant
to be for salad without the parmesan but I decided to make it about a week ago with macaroni noodles. I sort of like home made macaroni and cheese except
without the traditional white sauce.
4 tbsp heaping of the Greek spice (Club House carries this)
4 tbsp cold water
1/3 cup of vegetable oil (you can use olive oil but it would harden in the fridge if you have any left overs)
1/4 cup of grated cheese (the one that comes in a package already grated)
Mix the ingredients well together right before noodles are ready and drizzle into the noodles when they are ready. Mix it in the noddles well. It can be eaten hot or cool and might be a good idea for a kids lunch at school as something different if you don't want to pay for the school food and whatnot. I'm sure kids would love it. I would suggest using that amount if you are serving about four people if you want to use it as a main dish or possibly more if used more as a side dish.
