From I heard about next weeks ep, I've always just assumed it would be the Angels way of showing Dean (and I guess Sam too...I didn't think his memory
would be swiped too...But there ya go) that it is their fate to help people, to be hunters because it's who they were meant to become. And hopefully
it'll show that they were always meant to be work together. I've always seen Dean&Sam as the two sides of the one coin anyways...

Last night was great. I felt bad for Dean. The weight of the world is on his shoulders. The last scene in the hospital.
 I liked Cass in this episode and the
fact that we got to know him more. He got to break out of his regular mold. I wasnt too surprised about Uriel, he had the same feelings about humanity that I
am sure Lucifer has.
And I am worried about Sam. He is starting to turn evil and I dont know if he will be able to turn back. Ruby seems kinda shady, did you see the look on her face when Sam was drinking her blood?  And the whole blood drinking is gross. I wonder what Ruby is really up too, helping Sam turn more demonic. Overall
it was a great episode.

Maybe that's what they're trying to show us (and the boys) in next week's episode. Since they'll be 2 guys who, essentially, don't know one another, and have completely different jobs and livesYeah I definitely think that is the whole point of next weeks episode. It's like hey guys, no matter what, whether you're related or not THIS is what you are supposed to be doing with your lives. I mean God created humans right? So basically God created Sam and Dean as his human-warriers. He knew this apocolypse would eventually come and he needed humans to help fight it...I guess. Maybe. Or at least that is what seems to be going on here. Gah..all this fate and destiny crap is totally messing with my head today.

That even goes beyond it all starting with their mother, too. Like I think they think that the only reason they're even in all of this is totally because
of the YED and their mom but apparently if it's fate, it doesn't even matter.
Oh and you know the Ruby blood thing? I swear I'm not letting go to the fact that she may or may not be Meg's demon. Is her demon blood special or would any demon's blood suffice. And if any demon's blood would suffice, then why doesn't Sam get rid of Ruby and just go hunting and drink the blood of the ones he kills? SO MANY QUESTIONS! |

Yeah exactly..like if it's FATE than it goes beyond Mary and all of that too...it was already set in stone before any of them were born. Like Mary and
John's purpose was to come together and create the 2 boys...now I am just getting way in over my head here with thoughts.
And I was thinking about your Meg-demon theory last night actually, Nikki.  When she had that evil smirk as he was drinking her blood it crossed my mind. They need to tell us WTF Ruby is up to by the end of this season or I
am going to be super pissed. We've waited long enough...WHO is she..WHAT does she want?

Yeah it was weird when she called him Sammy........did Meg ever address him as Sammy?
Oh and on another note.....I really miss the freakin music!! They better get a good budget next season. I feel like there is something missing when there is so music in the background to go with what they're doing...even just as they're driving the car around. Like there is SUCH a difference between the older seasons with the music and then now..it has this empty feeling almost. |

I'm rewatching now cause I'm waiting for something for work to finish and you know what? On top of the superb acting from Mr. Ackles, that entire scene where they brought him to torture Alastair? He looks amazing. Maybe torturing!Dean is just hot. I don't know but DAMN. |

EW is doing a feature on SPN. It was supposed to be in this week's issue but they bumped it to do a tribute to Natasha Richardson. So, maybe it'll be

I hope they can somehow squeeze an epic song in toward the end. They need something big, something memorable. I love how they incorporated Carry On My Wayward
Son in..they need something like that again.
I'm listening to Renegade as I type this...... I am a firm believer
that music pretty much makes a scene in a show/movie. There are 3 main elements that should always be included in SPN: J-squared, Impala, MUSIC!
