I have met her many times and even worked with her on an event and she is the biggest *+#+# ever so I believe this story 100%. Don't be fooled by her "niceness" on the show. It's fake.

I worked with her on this Athletes and Entertainers event awhile back at Universal Studios. It was an event for underprivileged and/or sick kids where celebrities came and had groups of kids and they would do fun activities. Shaq was the headliner. This was back at least 9-10 years ago so she was just known as Paula Abdul the hasbeen singer. Waaaaay before American Idol. Anyway one of my job duties was I was in charge of going out to greet the celebs and show them where they were going to be meeting their groups. So I went out to get Paula and she was with this young guy. The guy spoke for Paula on everything. Paula did not say a word. I kept trying to talk with her and she was dead quiet. Very very odd. But then she would tell the guy she was with (right in front of me) , "ask her how long this event is" and things like that. Paula looked deathly thin at the time. I think it was at the height of her anorexia or something. Then I remember she was wearing sneakers and her shoelaces came untied and she almost tripped and she started yelling at the guy saying "how can you not fix my shoelaces?" So he bent down and tied them for her. Very very odd. She never said a word and was very rude. Then years later my mother and I saw her at a restaurant sitting out front and we were seated right next to her. We both smiled at Paula and said congratulations on the success of AI. It was like a year after the show began. She didn't even answer us and turned her head away. No joke! Then a couple years after that my mother was shopping in a boutique clothing store on Melrose and saw Paula inside. The only people in the entire store was my mom, the salesgirl and Paula. And Paula walked by my mom and my mom gave her a smile and said hello. Just trying to be friendly. And Paula gave my mother the rudest look ever. Then I have just heard from numerous people how she is such a **#%! and very unfriendly and her whole act on the show is just that, an act. Oh well.
